Welcome to our lab!
The Aydin Lab, located at Hacettepe Teknokent, Ankara, runs research projects that combine the use of materials and biological sciences to explore new biomaterials and material fabrication techniques that carry the potential for clinical use. We also function as a research and development laboratory for BMT Group. (est. 2004), the first Turkish manufacturer of commercial orthobiologic products.
In the Aydin Lab, Graduate students work on biomaterials and tissue engineering projects that are industry-based and with potential for product development. Our research is supported by TEYDEB and TUBITAK. Our activities include the development and in vitro and in vivo testing of novel synthetic and natural materials for the regeneration of tissues like bone, cartilage, tendon, aorta and cornea.
